Federica Luzzi’s has been exhibited at the Central Museum of Textiles in Lodz, Poland, the Jean Lurçat Museum of Contemporary Tapestry in Angers, France (having her work compared to that of Jagoda Buic), the Alvar Aalto Museum in Finland and the Royal Museums of Art and History in Brussels, Belgium. “My artistic research deals with nature,” Luzzi explains. “In particular, leaves, barks, but above all, seeds of plants, pods, that give me great satisfaction and the reason I entitle my works Shell, the english equivalent for the Italian “conchiglia” conch.
